Condo Renovations in Toronto & the GTA

Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and interior finishing in condos and apartments, planned around your building’s rules, approvals, elevator bookings and working hours, from a free in-home estimate to the final walkthrough.

What is included

Everything your condo renovation needs, under one contract

Building rules & renovation approvals

Before we quote, we go through your building’s renovation rules with you, including what your condo board or property manager needs to approve, so the plan, materials and schedule fit what your building allows.

Building management coordination

Where your building asks for drawings, a contractor insurance certificate or a renovation form, we help prepare it and keep your property manager informed.

Deliveries & elevator scheduling

Materials, debris removal and larger items are planned around your building’s elevator and loading bookings, so the work doesn’t hold up other residents.

Condo kitchen & bathroom renovations

Condo kitchens with cabinetry and counters sized to the unit, and condo bathrooms with proper waterproofing, vanities, showers and tile, planned around your unit’s existing plumbing stack and the layout changes your building permits.

Noise limits & common-area protection

Noisy work stays within your building’s permitted hours, and hallways, elevators and floors are covered and kept clean as the job moves along.

Flooring & interior finishing

Flooring, trim, doors and painting finished by the same crew, with flooring and underlay chosen to meet your building’s sound requirements.

Building approvals come first

Every condo corporation has its own renovation rules. Some limit working hours, some require a specific sound underlay under new flooring, and most ask for contractor insurance before work begins. We review those requirements with you at the start and plan the kitchen, bathroom and finishing work to suit them.

When your building needs paperwork before work can begin, we help put it together and answer property management’s questions, so you aren’t left coordinating between the building and the trades.

Planned for life in a shared building

Working in a condo means sharing hallways, elevators and walls with your neighbours. We agree a schedule that respects quiet hours, book the elevator for deliveries and debris, and leave the work area tidy at the end of every day.

You deal with Inoa directly from the first visit and written quote to the final walkthrough, and our own crew handles the flooring, painting and finishing work.

What it costs

Clear pricing, written quotes

Every condo is different, so we price each project after seeing it. The quote reflects the rooms involved, the finishes you choose and any building requirements that affect the schedule, such as restricted hours or elevator bookings. After a free in-home visit you receive an itemized written quote. If you change a selection later, we price the change in writing before it happens.

Questions

Condo renovation questions, answered

Does my condo building need to approve the renovation?
For most work beyond painting, yes. Many buildings ask for a renovation application and contractor insurance, and some also want drawings. Requirements vary, so we check what your building needs and help prepare the paperwork.
Can walls or plumbing be moved in a condo?
Some changes are possible and some are not. Interior partition walls can often be moved; plumbing is limited by where the building’s drains run and by the concrete floor, and structural elements stay where they are. We check the building’s rules and the structure first, so your design is based on what can actually be changed.
How long will my condo renovation take?
It depends on the scope, your building’s approval process and its permitted working hours. Once the scope is confirmed and the building has signed off, we give you an expected schedule in writing.
How do you handle quiet hours and elevator bookings?
We schedule noisy work inside the hours your building permits, reserve the service elevator for deliveries and debris, and cover hallways and elevator interiors while we work.
Which flooring can I install in a condo?
Most buildings allow hardwood, engineered wood, vinyl plank or tile provided an approved sound underlay is used. We check your building’s underlay rating and quote flooring that meets it.
How much does a condo renovation cost in Toronto?
It depends on the size of the unit, whether the kitchen or bathroom layout changes, your building’s rules on working hours and elevator use, and the finishes you choose. Because those factors vary from one building to the next, we price every condo after a free in-home visit and give you an itemized written quote rather than a generic figure.
Is there a warranty?
Inoa Construction stands behind its workmanship. Workmanship warranty details, where applicable, are outlined in your written project agreement.
Is the quote free?
Yes. The in-home consultation and the written quote are free, with no obligation.
